“How much does a professional voice over cost”? is a very tricky question to answer because no two voice over jobs are the same.

In order for me to able to give you an accurate quote, I need to know as many facts as possible about your project, such as genre, usage, length, timings, language and others.

I work with clients all over the world, and in three different languages. So I adapt my pricing to each individual client’s needs.

See below for a handy guide of how what information I need to be able to quote for your project:

  • BSF stands for Basic Studio Fee. It is the base rate you pay to hire me for 1 hour of Voice Over Services and includes the following:

    • Preparation of your script, including research and rehearsal before recording

    • Studio Hire with high end broadcast quality equipment

    • Recording of your script (multiple takes of short scripts if desired)

    • Editing and cleaning the recording so you receive a ready-to-use, high quality audio file

    • Delivery of the files in your desired format (standard is WAV 48k, 24bit)

    • Revisions and retakes in case of errors until you are happy

    • Live directed session, if desired, via Zoom, Teams, Cleanfeed, Source Connect or your preferred platform

    • Non-broadcast usage for internal projects

  • In short, usage is the license you pay to use my voice for your project.

The higher the expected reach of the project, the higher the license fee.

Usage fees depend on the genre of a recording, as well as which media, territories, timeframe and scale it is used in.

For a more detailed explanation, have a look at this easy guide for voice buyers.

  • If you are not happy my recording, I will provide retakes until we achieve what you want. Those retakes are always included in the quote.

If you change the script or brief after I have recorded, re-takes are subject to additional charges.

These charges fee will be proportionate to the extent of the changes and the time it takes me to execute them.
