What is your company’s voice?

Let’s be honest, nobody likes being stuck in a telephone queue, listening to an automated recording. We want to talk to a human.

That is not always possible and IVR systems can be incredibly useful to welcome callers, triage them depending on their needs and give them quick information that might solve their problem before they even need to speak to someone.

But nothing is more frustrating than listening to a lifeless and robotic voice, rattling down options in a monotone and disinterested manner.

It might as well be saying:

“We may claim that your call is important to us, but it really isn’t.”

The voice of the IVR recording is the first thing that a caller hears when contacting a company. It has to represent the company and make the caller feel welcome. It has to instil trust, sound knowledgeable and inviting.

It has to feel human

And it has to match the voice of the company. The welcome message for a quirky tech start-up has to sound different to that of a luxury perfume brand.

I have voiced hundreds of IVR and voicemail messages for companies worldwide, in English, German and French.

Listen to some of my examples and if you like what you hear, let’s figure out what your company’s voice sounds like.

Leonie has a great voice, is friendly and very fast with delivery. I highly recommend working with her for IVR recordings in German, French and English.
